    Gita Book Centre

The Gita Book Centre today is a great example of the determination and resolve of the Executive Committee to make the best of what started as a very small enterprise and in a modest manner about 20 years ago. The Centre is today, an extremely famous unit and its word of mouth reputation precedes that of any other south Indian pooja samigiri store in Delhi NCR. Not only does it house all varieties of pooja materials, traditional attire & religious books, this store also take care of various accessories such as lamps, idols, pictures of Gods/Goddess etc that are needed in any devout household. Not only are the south Indian families flocking in multitudes to take advantage of the offerings here, many north Indian families are also regular customers of the Gita Book Centre today. The Executive Committee of the Parishad shall remain ever grateful to Late Shri M.S. Menon for his enduring dedication to bring this Centre to its present prestigious standard and reputation.

    Canteen Facility

For many years, one of the empanelled caterers of the Parishad used to set up temporary canteen facility outside the temple premises on all Sundays for the benefit of the devotees, who wait until completion of darshan of the Lord, to eat any food. With the commissioning of the Dwarka - Noida Metro Line and other improved transport facilities, large turnout of devotees from far-flung areas in NCR visiting the temple on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and important temple function days, has become a regular feature. It has, therefore, been a long cherished desire of the Executive Committee to set up a canteen facility inside the temple complex for the benefit of the visiting devotees. With the blessings of Lord Guruvayurappan, this desire of the Executive Committee has since been accomplished and a full fledged canteen has been set up at the eastern gate of the temple complex. This initiative of the Executive Committee has proved to be very helpful and highly appreciated by the visiting devotees. This canteen facility is also being used by other religious institutions in the vicinity besides people from the neighbourhood.
